Roasting Coffee!
① Place 50g–100g of raw coffee beans into the roaster and heat over medium heat.
② Shake the roaster for a few minutes. You’ll hear the beans start to "crack" and the outer skins (chaff) will scatter. (This initial loud crack is called the "first crack.")
③ Continue shaking for a few more minutes, and you’ll hear a series of small, sharp sounds, known as the "second crack," indicating that the beans are caramelizing.
④ Check the color of the beans through the hole on the dome, and when they reach your desired roast level, remove them from the heat.
⑤ After removing the beans from the heat, quickly transfer them to a tray or colander to cool.
⑥ et the beans rest for at least one day before enjoying your home-roasted coffee!
